A lecture on avoiding the pitfalls of stagnant office meetings will be held during the California Dental Association’s “Art and Science of Dentistry” conference Sept. 8-10 at Moscone South.
Personal development coach Chris Scappatura will present the “Elements of a Great Office Meeting” on Sept. 8, the conference’s opening day. Offering a template for effective meetings, Scappatura will talk about optimum meeting length, structure and more.
Key takeaways will include having the meeting run by someone other than the dentist, having rotating leaders and being on time.
“It starts with a positive office environment before you can create a good patient experienced,” Scappatura said. “If you don’t know how to articulate the core values of the practice, then you won’t be able to create the proper environment to attract patients.”
After this morning session, Scappatura will discuss “Secrets of a Dental Office Revealed,” a lecture about using scanners, social media and other technology in dental practices.
